Dohm Natural Sound Machine

This tried-and-true basic makes just one noise, the soothing sound of rushing air. The sound is generated by a fan inside the acoustic housing, not a recording (rest assured, you won’t get a waft of cold air coming out of your sound machine). You can adjust the fan speed and tone until you find the sweet spot you and your baby need for a good night’s sleep.

The Dohm is simple to operate, and its unobtrusive, compact design makes it useful at home and on the road (you will need to plug it into an outlet).

If you’re looking for a sound machine with lots of white noise options, songs, a night light, timer or other bells and whistles, this isn’t the machine for you. But if simple and reliable appeals, this one may work wonders.
